पुणे स्थित पवन टरबाइन निर्माता सुजलॉन एनर्जी ने सोमवार (15 जून) को कहा कि उसने कर्नाटक के विजयनगर जिले में एस175 (5 मेगावाट) स्थापित किया है, जो 160 मीटर की ऊंचाई के साथ भारत का सबसे ऊंचा पवन टरबाइन बिजलीघर होने का दावा करता है।
कंपनी की एक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, भारत की अब तक की सबसे शक्तिशाली टरबाइन के रूप में, S175 को सुजलॉन के मौजूदा 15.5 गीगावॉट टरबाइन बेड़े से 30 वर्षों से अधिक की परिचालन अंतर्दृष्टि पर इंजीनियर किया गया है। देश की पहली एफडीआरई-रेडी (फर्म और डिस्पैचेबल रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी) टर्बाइन के रूप में, यह नई पवन सीमाओं को खोलती है और पवन ऊर्जा को भारत के ऊर्जा संक्रमण में एक बड़ी भूमिका निभाने में सक्षम बनाएगी।
नवीन और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा के केंद्रीय कैबिनेट मंत्री प्रल्हाद जोशी ने कहा, ”एस175 5 मेगावाट टरबाइन का लॉन्च यह सुनिश्चित करने में काफी मदद करेगा कि हम घरेलू और वैश्विक स्तर पर अपनी पवन ऊर्जा महत्वाकांक्षाओं को पूरा करें। यह अगली पीढ़ी का टरबाइन उन्नत स्वच्छ ऊर्जा नवाचार में भारत की बढ़ती ताकत को दर्शाता है।”
सुजलॉन ग्रुप के कार्यकारी उपाध्यक्ष गिरीश तांती ने कहा, ”इसकी सबसे बड़ी सफलता न केवल ऊर्जा उत्पादन में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि में है, बल्कि पहले से अव्यवहार्य पवन साइटों को व्यवहार्य बनाने, पवन पता योग्य बाजारों का विस्तार करने की क्षमता में भी निहित है।”
कंपनी ने कहा, सिद्ध विश्वसनीयता और अगली पीढ़ी की टरबाइन प्रौद्योगिकी के एकीकरण से निम्न से मध्यम भारत के पवन क्षेत्रों के लिए उच्च ऊर्जा उत्पादन और बेहतर परियोजना अर्थशास्त्र प्रदान करने में मदद मिलेगी।
